Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s about time feels like a game that shouldn’t work in several ways. Most franchisors founded in the mid-1990s had to relocate to adapt to an ever-changing market. Deep down, Crash 4 is still old-fashioned, but it’s not bad. The graphics are cleaner now, and Crash has some new tricks, but when you squint, Crash 4 looks like the old platform player you always liked.
