Control is an action-adventure video game published and developed by 505 Games and Remedy Entertainment. Control releases for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in August 2019, and a cloud-based version released for the Nintendo Switch in October 2020. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / Series S versions released in February 2021.
The game is all about the Federal Bureau of Control Office (FBC), a secret agency of the US government accused of containing and investigating phenomena that violate the laws of reality. Read this Control PC Game Review to know about the tips and tricks of the game.
Like Jesse Faden, the new office manager, the player explores the oldest house, FBC’s paranormal headquarters, and uses powerful abilities to defeat a deadly enemy named Elevator that has invaded and destroyed reality.
Finding power artifacts, such as a rotating telephone or a floppy disk, imbued with energy from other dimensions that have been at the core of critical paranormal events and have since been restored by the FBC allows the player to gain skills.
Control is an online project based on personal stories about paranormal objects based on the new genre and the surroundings of the oldest house design with the brutalist architecture typical to many oppressive public buildings.
Control PC Gameplay
The controls are rendered third and based on Remedy’s own Northlight engine. The Northlight Engine was used in the company’s previous title, Quantum Break. Which investigates and collects changing world events (AWE) and examines objects of the power of these AWEs. Even an object of power, the oldest house has an interior much larger than the outside.
At the beginning of the game, the Elevator’s unit tries to enter this reality through a dimensional barrier. The player controls Jesse Faden, who has come to the older house after a previous AWE to seek answers about his brother, who is then involved in the fight against Elevator.
The controls are in Metroidvania format with a large world map that, unlike previous Remedy titles, was mostly linear and can be explored at a non-linear pace. Once the player has completed the main quests, they will encounter areas called control points.
Enemies can unlock them after clearing the path and then use them as storage sites and quickly drive through the building to previously open checkpoints when the player completes missions, in addition to various rewards.
They will unlock more buildings to explore and more side missions. It includes skill points to improve Jesse’s psychokinetic powers during the game. For example: shooting debris at enemies or temporarily taking Control of their minds to make them allies.
Mission rewards can also include resources that can improve the operation of the Service Weapon. A specialized weapon can take many forms, from a near firearm to a firearm, many elites with several advantages. The player can equip benefits to improve Jesus’ attributes. Various optional side missions and mission warnings are available with additional rewards when completed for a limited time.

It is safe to say that gamers and developers in the universe are looking for next-generation consoles and video games to launch on them. One of them is the controller developer Remedy Entertainment. I recently confirmed that Jesse Faden would be coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Of course, there are other things you can refer to as Control 2, but they do not seem as likely. As mentioned, Control is coming to the PS5 itself, and a DLC is under development that will focus on the events of Alan Wake.
